Ho Chi Minh Haters: Oakland art exhibit rekindles anti-Communist movement
At night, they hold candlelight vigils. In the daytime, they chant and
often times fervently scream for democracy in Vietnam. "Down with
communism!" they are heard shouting. Some men are in army fatigues waving
yellow and red-striped flags symbolic of the days before the Communists
took over the country. Others beat effigies of Ho Chi Minh -- the North
Vietnamese communist leader who is at the heart of a Bay Area art exhibit
and the latest protest led by Vietnamese Americans.
